At Haydock our overriding aim is to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Established since the early 1990s, Haydock Nursing and Residential Home offers 24 hour personal care administered by qualified, caring, friendly and dedicated staff, many of whom are long standing employees of Haydock.

Every member of staff has been selected for their dedication to this caring profession. All receive in-house and regularly updated training and all have a NVQ minimum qualification.
Our single bedrooms are all attractively decorated to a high standard with en-suite facilities. Each has a telephone and aerial point, thermostatic radiators, smoke detectors and a 24 hour nurse call system. To make their rooms feel as much like home as possible, we encourage residents to bring their own belongings.
We encourage residents to involve themselves in a range of social activities and outings. Additional services are available in the form of a hairdresser, optician, chiropodist and occupational therapist.
Residents may retain their own GP if they wish or we can arrange an alternative for them. Equally the spiritual needs of residents are addressed by visiting clergy – or by their own chosen representative.
There is wheelchair access to Haydock in addition to chair and stair lifts.
We have a full housekeeping team, laundry and catering service and in the case of the latter, we are very much aware of our residents’ likes, dislikes and allergies. These factors are reflected in the appetizing menu choices which are presented daily.
The role of the friend or family member is also of paramount importance and their regular visits are essential for both the resident and the overall picture of life at Haydock.
